It’s all "AI this" and "AI that" lately. If you’re anything like me, you’re over the hype, but still thrilled when an actually useful AI tool lands in your lap. Blues Expert is that tool: a publicly available MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that connects to your favorite LLM to make your Notecard-based firmware development faster, cleaner, and smarter. We’ll demo it live on November 12th, but you can get started now with our introductory blog post.

ESP-IDF Library

Calling all ESP32 developers: the new note-espidf library streamlines building firmware for ESP32-based boards. It’s built for ESP-IDF v5.5+ and supports a wide range of ESP32 variants.

Firmware v9.3.1

The latest Notecard Developer Firmware (v9.3.1) is now available. This release provides a launch point (pun intended) for our upcoming Starnote for Iridium, adds a new card.aux feature, and includes a handful of fixes.
